The simple joys of buddhaful parenting
Sometimes all we need to do to reconnect with ourselves is to follow a child's mind. My daughter, Savannah, never ceases to amaze me with the amount of compassion she holds for the world. The intimate way her eyes gleam at the site of a small flower or insect, as if they are the most unique to her at that moment.
Maybe as parents or even just adults we could try to relearn the world through a child's eyes... I wonder what we might see? Perhaps we slow down, swing on a swing? Wiggle our toes in water or draw chalk master pieces on local sidewalks for fun!!
What makes your life buddhaful?

Venice Dreams
Venice Beach
Venice beach...Rich in diversity and culture, as if NYC's the west village was transported to beautiful SoCal beaches!Today I had the unique opportunity to explore Venice through the eyes of today's youth. A group of teenagers inspired by art activities and culture to cultivate young dreams of "what I will be. When I grow up."
Most adults still seek to answer a similar question. Does art and creativity inspire you? Can exposure to such culture solidify dreams of what may come? I'd like to think yes. Let's for a moment imagine that sayings and experiences help today's youth find their "walk about" into adulthood. Believe that we "adults" might actually impact tomorrow's generation...
1. Peaceful walk from Santa Monica to Venice California.
2. Imagines of meanings to cultivate such hope, peace and inner awareness.
3. Musicians playing with the elements, sing songs of yesterday.
Perhaps all art is imagined or dreamed to assist the belief that everything and everyone has a meaning. How do you capture today's dreamers? Today's youth? Tomorrow's future?

How to have fun with DIY home photo studios
Lets have fun and take festive pictures.
What we used: a muslin backdrops, holiday lights and a white floor sheet. Then encouraged the kids to play and dance and go some neat shoots. :)
How do you create scenery with toddler photos?
