The simple joys of buddhaful parenting
Sometimes all we need to do to reconnect with ourselves is to follow a child's mind. My daughter, Savannah, never ceases to amaze me with the amount of compassion she holds for the world. The intimate way her eyes gleam at the site of a small flower or insect, as if they are the most unique to her at that moment.
Maybe as parents or even just adults we could try to relearn the world through a child's eyes... I wonder what we might see? Perhaps we slow down, swing on a swing? Wiggle our toes in water or draw chalk master pieces on local sidewalks for fun!!
